What does it mean to lead as a Muslim woman today? Not simply to take up space but to do so with clarity, purpose and responsibility. Many of us have stepped into leadership because something needed to be done, a gap filled, a community supported.

Rarely are we given the time or space to ask whether our work still reflects who we are, or who we’re becoming.

Alchemy of Leadership is a space to pause, reflect, and realign  without the pressure to perform.

This isn’t a business bootcamp or personal development hack. It’s a deeply considered retreat built around five core dimensions of stewardship the model we use to explore what leadership can look like when rooted in values, not just visibility or output. Together with my co-lead Henrietta Szovati, a leadership coach and founder of House of Andalus, we offer a curated, reflective space that holds both the strategic and the spiritual. One that draws from heritage, land, and lived experience.

Our first cohort brought together women from different paths, founders, professionals, creatives each carrying something powerful. What united them wasn’t their title, but the need for space: to breathe, to listen inward, to explore new direction. The retreat helped surface the clarity that often gets buried beneath the noise of daily life and leadership expectations.

Set in the hills of Andalusia, surrounded by olive groves and centuries of quiet wisdom, the land becomes part of the learning. We walk, talk, reflect, and eat together. Each day offers structured yet spacious exploration of your purpose, direction, and capacity to lead differently. It’s a programme designed for women holding vision  whether clear or emerging who want to take the next step with intention.

Alchemy of Leadership sits at the heart of Muslim Women Founders, our growing ecosystem committed to building spaces, relationships, and leadership that centre purpose, integrity, and impact. This retreat is one part of that journey: a space to reconnect with yourself, refine your direction, and be part of something bigger. Expressions of interest for Spring 2026 are now open.
