Muslim Women Talk Ramadan – Co – Producer
Project Snapshot
Muslim Women Talk Ramadan is a podcast created to centre the voices and lived experiences of Muslim women during one of the most spiritually significant times of the year. Co-produced by Sabah Gilani, the series explores themes of leadership, purpose, identity, and inner reflection — offering listeners an honest and affirming space to hear from Muslim women shaping change across sectors.
Approach & Ethos
Sabah’s approach was grounded in intentional storytelling — creating space for Muslim women not only to be heard, but to define their own leadership and power on their terms. By anchoring the series during Ramadan, the project offered a deeply resonant invitation into the inner lives of Muslim women — for both Muslim and non-Muslim audiences. The tone was honest, contemporary, and rooted in lived experience.

Sabah’s Role & Impact
- Co-produced and shaped the vision for the series, responding to a clear gap: the lack of relatable Muslim women role models in public media.
- Curated and co-led the storytelling approach, highlighting voices from across generations — from creatives and changemakers to emerging leaders and young girls.
- Brought the project to life in partnership with life coach Henrietta Szovati and pioneering storyteller Shelina Janmohamed.
- Launched the series through TBI Media, introducing authentic Muslim women-led narratives to a mainstream platform.
