My Family Group

Co-Founder

Project Snapshot

My Family Group was born from a deep commitment to children in care — and the urgent need to create culturally responsive, advocacy-driven support systems. As co-founder, Sabah helped transition the organisation from a foster recruitment agency to a leading training and policy platform.

Approach & Ethos

Sabah brought deep empathy and systemic insight to this work, always grounding solutions in real-life experiences. She believes change in care systems must be relational, reflective, and deeply attuned to culture, faith, and identity.

Sabah’s Role & Impact

– Led strategic planning and long-term visioning, positioning the group as a thought leader in child welfare and care advocacy.

– Built and nurtured partnerships with local authorities, care professionals, and faith communities to foster trust and collective action.

– Facilitated multidisciplinary roundtables and research that shaped reports, campaigns, and practical change on the ground.

– Championed the visibility of care-experienced children in policy spaces and the media — advocating for systems that work with families, not against them.

“Care isn’t just about protection — it’s about belonging. That’s what we were working to restore.”
